Perubahan Garis Pantai Daerah Selatan Bandara I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali Menggunakan Citra Satelit Sentinel-2A

Abstract

The coastline is the line of encounters between the land and the ocean, which the tides affect. The change of coastline is a dynamic process that can change from time to time, following the environment. As this process continues, it will affect the activity around the coast because it can cause erosion or abrasion. This research aimed to identify the changes in the coastline in the southern part of Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport which covers Kelan Beach, Kedonganan Beach and Jimbaran Beach using Sentinel-2A satellite images from 2015 to 2023, this study used images from sentinel 2A because it has a resolution of 10 x 10 meters so that it can give more detailed results of the change of coastlines. The results of this study show that the coastline on the southern part of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali airport has undergone changes in both accretion and abrasion over the course of 9 years. In nine years, divided into two sessions, the first session of the calculation was carried out between 2015 and 2019, and the second was between 2019 and 2023. The year 2019 was chosen to see the impact of the complaint activity after one year, because of the initial phase of complaints filed since 2018. Between 2015 and 2023, there was an accretion. Between 2015 and 2019, only the Jimbaran Coast suffered abrasion at some point, and between 2019 and 2023, three coasts experienced abrasion.
