Macrozoobenthos are often used as biological indicators in aquatic environments due to their habit and varying tolerance ranges among species. This study aimed to determine the structure of the macrozoobenthos community in the Canggu waters tourism area. Sampling was conducted using the quadrat transect method, consisting of three transects, each spanning a length of 50 m with a 10 m interval between quadrant transects. Macrozoobenthos sampling data for each transect were collected using a modified square measuring 1×1 m. Macrozoobenthos samples were collected from the surface and within the sediment, then identified and analyzed for their community structure. The research in the Canggu waters area identified 38 species, nine classes, and four phyla. The most common phyla were Gastropods and Echinoderms. The community structure indices, i.e., Diversity (H'), Uniformity (E), and Dominance (C) at the three research stations at Pererenan Beach, Mengening Beach, and Echo Beach, indicate a reasonably stable ecosystem. H' values were 1.67, 2.25, and 2.1, while the E values were 0.59, 0.70, and 0.74. The C values were 0.35, 0.19, and 0.16. Based on the condition of the macrozoobenthos community structure and the analysis of seawater quality parameters, the marine tourism area of Canggu has good water quality.
