Tongkol (Auxis sp.) is the main catch of fishermen in East Seraya Village. It is a small-scale fisheries area, that has relatively enormous fisheries resource potential in Karangasem Regency, Province of Bali. This research aimed to determine trends in Catch Unit Per Effort (CPUE), Maximum Sustainable Yield (MSY), and Number of Allowable Catches (JTB) of tongkol fish landed in East Seraya Village. The method used was a quantitative descriptive method using CPUE analysis and production surplus from Schaefer. The data used in this research were catch and trip (effort) from 2018 – 2022, which were obtained directly from the Dinas Pertanian, Pangan dan Perikanan, Karangasem Regency. The results found that the highest CPUE in 2019 with a 304.7 kg/trip value. The MSY value obtained was 1.048.216 kg/year, while the fopt value from the analysis results was 7.376 trips/year. Furthermore, the JTB value was 80% of the MSY value, 838.572 kg/year. This indicates the occurrence of overfishing and over-exploitation in East Seraya Village. To prevent this, management is needed in sustainable resource use, such as limiting fishing capacity and fishing effort, and implementing management models, such as CBFM (Community-Based Fisheries Management).
