Analisis Kesesuaian dan Daya Dukung Kawasan Wisata Rekreasi Pantai di Pantai Delod Berawah, Kabupaten Jembrana

Abstract

Tourism activities are trips carried out by an individual or group to visit a particular place used as a destination. Delod Berawah Beach is a beach located in Jembrana Regency, and is a tourist destination with potential for beach recreation tourism. This research aimed to analyze the Tourism Suitability Index (TSI) and Carrying Capacity (CC) at Delod Berawah Beach in the recreation category. The method used in this research was field observation and parameter measurements at three observation stations. The results showed that the Tourism Suitability Index (TSI) value at the three stations ranges between 2.11–2.38, with an average of 2.26, which is included in the suitable category. Hence, the area is suitable for beach tourism development. Apart from that, the area's carrying capacity (CC) is 1,537 people/day with an average visit of 215 people/day showing a utilization rate of 13.99% (under carrying capacity), which means the number of visitors is still far below maximum capacity so that the area is still safe, comfortable and has not experienced excessive pressure from tourist activities.
