The Effect of Cow Manure Compost Fertilizer Dosage on Green Mustard (Brassica juncea L.) Growth in Tailings Media

Ex - mining land or what is commonly called tailings can have a negative impact on the environment if it is not treated properly, so remediation needs to be carried out, one of which is by applying fertilization. This study wanted to see how compost can change the appearance and workings of the soil from a mine. They will try using different types and amounts of compost, and also see if adding plant food helps plants grow better in this soil. They use special means to ensure the test is fa ir. The factors observed were the compost factor which consisted of four levels, namely: D1: 0 g (100% tailings); D2: 10 g/poly bag (2.7% compost); D3: 20 g/poly bag (5.4% compost); and D4: 30 g/polybag (7.8% compost). Parameters observed included plant he ight, leaf width, fresh weight and dry weight. The results showed that the dose of cow manure compost at a dose of 30 g/polybag produced the best growth of mustard greens, namely plant height 29.00 cm, leaf width 7.00 cm, wet weight 19.67 g, and dry weight 5.33 gReferences
