About the Journal

ESSENTIAL (Essence of Scientific Medical Journal) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by Kelompok Ilmiah Hippocrates (KIH), Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University and accredited at SINTA 5. ESSENTIAL serves as a platform for students and researchers in the health and medical fields across Indonesia to disseminate scientific work and contribute to the advancement of medical knowledge. The journal publishes original research articles and literature reviews within the scope of health sciences and medicine, including basic medical sciences, clinical sciences, community and public health, as well as experimental studies involving human or animal subjects. As an open access journal, ESSENTIAL provides free and immediate access to all published content to support wider dissemination of scientific information and encourage academic collaboration. Every submitted manuscript undergoes an editorial screening and peer-review process to maintain scientific quality, originality, and publication ethics. Authors remain responsible for the content and originality of their work in accordance with the journal’s publication policies.
