Peer Review Process
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts submitted to JSFD will undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality of published articles.
The review process applies a Single-Blind Review method, where reviewers know the identity of the authors, but authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.
Review Process:
1. Initial screening by the Editor to check the suitability of the manuscript with the journal scope and writing guidelines.
2. Plagiarism screening using plagiarism detection tools.
3. Manuscripts passing the initial screening are sent to reviewers.
4. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, contribution, clarity, and relevance.
5. The Editor makes the final decision based on reviewers’ recommendations.
Possible editorial decisions:
- Accepted
- Minor Revision
- Major Revision
- Rejected
The average review process takes approximately 2–6 weeks depending on the review cycle.
