Peer Review Process

Proses peer review bertujuan untuk memastikan bahwa naskah berkualitas tinggi yang relevan dengan topik jurnal. Seluruh proses peninjauan dilakukan dengan double blind peer-review dan dikelola oleh editor di OJS. 

1. Submission

Penulis mengirimkan naskah serta sesuai dengan pedoman dan template jurnal.

2. Initial Editorial Screening

Editor melakukan pemeriksaan awal. Naskah yang tidak memenuhi kriteria dapat ditolak (desk rejection) atau dikembalikan kepada penulis untuk perbaikan awal.

3. Reviewer Assignment

Naskah yang lolos seleksi awal akan dikirim kepada minimal dua reviewer yang memiliki keahlian sesuai bidang kajian artikel.

4. Double-Blind Peer Review

Reviewer mengevaluasi artikel. Reviewer dapat memberikan rekomendasi:

1. Accept Submission: pengajuan akan diterima tanpa revisi.
2. Revisions Required: pengajuan akan diterima setelah dilakukan perubahan kecil.
3. Resubmit for Review: pengajuan perlu dikerjakan ulang, tetapi dengan perubahan signifikan, mungkin akan diterima. Namun, akan memerlukan putaran peninjauan kedua.
4. Decline Submission: pengajuan tidak akan diterbitkan dalam jurnal.

5. Editorial Decision

Editor mengambil keputusan berdasarkan hasil review.

6. Revision by Authors

Penulis melakukan revisi sesuai masukan reviewer dan editor, kemudian mengunggah kembali naskah yang telah diperbaiki beserta tanggapan revisi.

7. Final Evaluation

Editor mengevaluasi hasil revisi. Jika diperlukan, naskah dapat dikirim kembali kepada reviewer untuk penilaian ulang.

8. Copyediting and Publication

Artikel yang diterima akan melalui proses penyuntingan akhir (copyediting dan proofreading) sebelum diterbitkan pada edisi jurnal yang telah ditentukan.

The peer review process aims to ensure that high quality manuscripts relevant to the topics of the journal are published. The entire review process is conducted using double-blind peer review and managed by the editors at OJS.

1. Submission

Authors submit manuscripts in accordance with the journal's guidelines and templates.

2. Initial Editorial Screening

The editor conducts an initial review. Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria may be rejected (desk rejection) or returned to the author for initial revision.

3. Reviewer Assignment

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be sent to at least two reviewers with expertise in the article's field of study.

4. Double-Blind Peer Review

Reviewers evaluate the article. After being reviewed, there will be four types of editor decision based on the reviewers’ recommendation:

1. Accept Submission: The submission will be accepted without revision.
2. Revisions Required: The submission will be accepted after minor changes.
3. Resubmit for Review: The submission needs to be reworked, but with significant changes, it may be  accepted. However, it will require a second round of review.
4. Decline Submission: The submission will not be published in the journal.

5. Editorial Decision

The editor makes a decision based on the review results.

6. Revision by Authors

Authors make revisions based on feedback from reviewers and editors, then re-upload the revised manuscript along with the revised responses.

7. Final Evaluation

The editor evaluates the revised manuscript. If necessary, the manuscript can be sent back to the reviewers for re-assessment.

8. Copyediting and Publication

Accepted articles will undergo a final editing process (copyediting and proofreading) before being published in the designated journal issue.
