Evaluasi tingkat kenyamanan alun-alun Gianyar berdasarkan persepsi pengunjung

Abstract

Gianyar Town Square is a green open space that has undergone revitalization efforts, namely the improvement or renewal of the previously neglected or poorly maintained square into a multifunctional park in 2020. The changes in Gianyar Town Square have led to increased interest and awareness among the public to visit and engage in various activities such as recreation and sports. However, the availability of some facilities at the location still appears inadequate and poorly maintained. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the level of comfort in Gianyar Town Square based on visitors' perceptions and to provide recommendations as input for the managers of Gianyar Town Square to improve the comfort of the place. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with data collection through observation, documentation, questionnaire distribution, and literature review. The results show that Gianyar Town Square has a comfortable level of comfort in the comfortable category based on testing statements in each of the eight parameters based on the theory of factors influencing comfort such as circulation, climate, noise, aroma, form, security, cleanliness, and beauty. However, there are some statements in each parameter whose results are still below the comfortable category, namely quite comfortable. Therefore, it is necessary to provide recommendations for improvements to the managers in order to enhance the comfort of Gianyar Town Square more effectively.
