Perencanaan lanskap agrowisata di Liran Farm Bedugul

Abstract

The recovery of Bali's tourism sector has driven the development of agriculture-based tourism in Baturiti District, an agropolitan and agrotourism priority zone. Liran Farm, a 12,659.18 m² highland plantation, cultivates passion fruit, dragon fruit, anthurium, and heliconia, representing a unique combination of fruit and floricultural commodities in Baturiti. However, the site currently functions solely as production land, without spatial zoning, circulation systems, or visitor facilities. This study aimed to identify the site's landscape and commodity potentials and formulate landscape planning recommendations. A mixed-methods approach involving field observations, semi-structured interviews, and a literature review was applied through the stages of inventory, analysis, synthesis, and planning, incorporating four components of tourism. Thermal comfort was assessed using the Temperature Humidity Index (THI). The results showed a comfortable thermal environment (average THI = 26.21), fertile volcanic soil, and predominantly flat terrain. However, several constraints were identified, including narrow informal paths (0.5 m wide), inadequate lighting, disorganized operational areas, and the absence of an agrotourism management unit. The proposed concept is educational and recreational agrotourism based on experiential learning, translated into three spatial zones, a linear circulation system, facility and green-space planning, and a site plan.
