Abstract

Landscaping Planning for Rest Area Pengeragoan, Jembrana. Rest Area Pengeragoan is one of the temporary rest areas located on the Denpasar-Gilimanuk highway, Pengeragoan Village, Pekutatan District, Jembrana Regency, Bali. Rest Area Pengeragoan provides facilities such as parking, restaurants, toilets, gazebos, wantilan, and open stages, but there are several problems such as lack of facilities, less than optimalt land use, and lack of vegetation arrangement. Therefore, research is needed with the aim of determining the condition of the landscape so that landscape planning can be made at the Rest Area Pengeragoan. The research was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods, to obtain primary and secondary data. The data was obtained using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The research was conducted in several stages, namely preparation, inventory, analysis, synthesis, concept, and planning, with research limitations up to landscape planning. The results of this study are the biophysical conditions and facilities on the site which are then subjected to synthetic analysis, so that landscape planning can be carried out on the site. Landscape planning is in the form of a site plan which is divided into spatial planning, circulation planning, facility planning, and green planning. The results of this study can also be used as a consideration for managers in developing the Rest Area Pengeragoan as a type III rest area on public roads and recreational facilities.
