Plagiarism Police & Screening for Plagiarism
Plagiarism Police & Screening for Plagiarism
- The Indonesian Journal of Small-Scale Farming firmly opposes all forms of plagiarism. All manuscripts submitted for publication in the Indonesian Journal of Small-Scale Farming will be screened for plagiarism using Turnitin software.
- Plagiarism is copying someone's ideas, processes, results, or words without explicitly acknowledging the original author and source. Plagiarism occurs when large portions of a manuscript are copied from previously published sources without using appropriate references.
- Manuscripts found plagiarized during the initial stages of review will be rejected immediately and not considered for publication in the journal. The Editorial Board checks for plagiarism through script review based on clarity of reference/citation sources and examination of related articles that have been published. The maximum similarity tolerance limit is 15%.
- If a manuscript is found to be plagiarized beyond acceptable limits, the journal will immediately contact the author. Determining an ethical violation will require the Indonesian Journal of Small-Scale Farming to submit an online statement that links bi-directionally to and from the original paper, to note plagiarism, and to provide references to plagiarized material.
In our efforts to maintain the high quality of the Indonesian Journal of Small-Scale Farming, we firmly enforce the Plagiarism Police policy. We raise great concern about academic integrity and scientific honesty. Therefore, we not only attach importance to quality aspects from the point of view of substance and methodology but also pay attention to the ethical obligations in creating scientific work that is original and based on the principles of scientific honesty. Our team ensures that every published article is plagiarism-free, whether citing without providing the correct source, using other people's ideas without proper attribution, or using material from other sources without permission. By enforcing this Plagiarism Police policy, we are committed to protecting the reputation of our journal and ensuring that authoritative and original contributions are appropriately acknowledged.
