Author Guideline

The article must be an original work of the author(s) based on actual research results and has not been published nor is under consideration for publication in any other media. All submissions must be free from plagiarism, including self-plagiarism. Each manuscript will be checked using anti-plagiarism software.

The article must be related to the field of Library and Information Science in accordance with the journal’s focus and scope.

The manuscript may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English. The title and abstract must be provided in both languages. The length of the manuscript ranges from 3,000–7,000 words, typed on A4 paper (21 cm × 29.7 cm), single spacing, following the journal template using Times New Roman/Cambria font.

The title must not exceed 12 words, written in bold, 14 pt, and centered, without abbreviations. Author names must be written in full without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliation (program/study program, university/institution, city, country) and email of the corresponding author.

The abstract must be written in one paragraph (maximum 200 words), in Bahasa Indonesia and English. It should include background, objectives, methods, main findings, and conclusions. Keywords consist of 3–5 relevant words or phrases in both languages, separated by semicolons.

The manuscript must be written in essay form (without bullet points) and consists of the following sections: Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, and References.

The Introduction contains background, research gap, problem formulation, and research objectives. The Research Methods explain the type of research, data sources, data collection techniques, and data analysis methods. The Results and Discussion present findings supported by data and discuss them in relation to relevant theories and previous studies. The Conclusion provides answers to research objectives and highlights the contribution of the study.

Tables must have titles placed above the table, while figures (graphs, diagrams, photos) must have titles placed below. Each table and figure must include its source.

The use of footnotes is not allowed. Long quotations (more than three lines) must be written as block quotations.

References must follow the APA 7th Edition style. Each manuscript must include at least 10 references, with a minimum of 80% derived from primary sources (journals, proceedings) published within the last 10 years. The use of reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero is highly recommended.
