Peer Review Process

Sita Ayana: Journal of Library, Information, and Culture accepts manuscripts from researchers, lecturers, students, librarians, archivists, and practitioners in the fields of library, information, and cultural studies.

All submitted manuscripts undergo a Double-Blind Peer Review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure objectivity, quality, and academic integrity. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.

The review process evaluates originality, scientific contribution, methodology, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board will make one of the following decisions: accepted, accepted with minor revision, major revision required, or rejected.

The average review process takes approximately 6–8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the time required for authors to revise the manuscript.
