Peer Review Process

Jurnal METTEK is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal that facilitates the dissemination of work by academics, researchers, and practitioners in the field of mechanical engineering.

Submitted articles are first screened by an editor to ensure the manuscript complies with Jurnal METTEK's author guidelines. Articles matching the journal template will undergo peer review. Jurnal METTEK operates a double-blind peer-review process involving expert reviewers in relevant mechanical engineering fields. The final decision regarding article acceptance is made by the editor based on the reviewers' recommendations.

Prospective reviewers are generally selected based on their reputation in terms of the quantity and quality of their international publications. The editorial team then sends an invitation letter to each prospective reviewer. Once the candidates confirm their availability for the review process, the editor creates an account for each reviewer and sends the manuscript via OJS.

Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited. Jurnal METTEK screens all articles using Turnitin to detect plagiarism.
