Providing Snacks to Leek Farmer to Reduce Fatigue and Workload While Working on the Farm

Fatigue and a high workload cause a decrease in energy in humans so that work cannot be completed properly. The number of calories that do not meet the body's metabolic needswill cause a decrease in a person's physical capacity. One solution to keep the number of calories available to meet the basic needs of metabolism is to schedule meals and snacks at work. One of the scheduling is a snack at 10.00 am with a calorie contentof 10% of daily calorie needs. This study aims to determine whether the provision of snacks can reduce fatigue and workload of leek farmers. The snacks that will be given in this study are one bottle of 600 ml mineral water with 0 kcal, one 110 kcal kue getas, one100 kcal martabak mini, and one 118 kcal kue lapis. This type of research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The units used in this study found 30 units using the purposive sampling technique. Subjective fatigue data was obtained by filling out the Fatigue Severity Scale questionnaire to determine the level of fatigue experienced by the unit while the workload data was obtained by calculating the pulse (before work and completion) of work and filling out the NASA-TLX workload questionnaire. Inthis study used data analysis with validity test, reliability test, normality test Kolmogorov-Smirnov, and statistical test Paired Sample T-Test. The results showthat there is a decrease in fatigue by 24% and a decrease in workload by 7% by giving snacksto leek farmers, but there is no significant difference between the number of pulses that are not given snacks and the number of pulses given the snack. So, from the results it says that leek farmers in Bukit Catu are workers who do not have a high workload but farmers experience high fatigue.
