Authorship Criteria

An individual may be listed as an author if they meet all of the following authorship requirements:

1. Making a substantive contribution to the design, drafting, data collection, analysis, and presentation of results in the manuscript.
2. Participating in drafting the manuscript and revising the core content of the article.
3. Reading and approving both the final version of the manuscript submitted and the final version of the article to be published.
4. Being accountable for the contributions made and participating in any clarification or investigation process should issues arise regarding the integrity, authorship, or ethics of the article.

Anyone who meets the authorship criteria must be listed as an author; conversely, anyone who does not meet the authorship criteria must not be listed as an author. The name, affiliation, and identity information of each author must be accurate, valid, included with the knowledge and consent of the person concerned, and verifiable when necessary. Authorship criteria adhere to the COPE Authorship Guidelines.
